Our Sunday Service - 10:45am

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the good news about Jesus at one of our Sunday worship services. We trust you will feel welcomed by others and comfortable joining in the worship and fellowship times.  Don't worry, we won't put you on the spot or make you do anything uncomfortable. Our English-speaking service is in the sanctuary found to the right (toward Leif Erickson park) of the central glass entrance doors.  If you are visiting with family or friends desiring to worship in Chinese, our sister church worships at the same time, down the central stair case, turning right at the main hall way. Arabic-speaking worship services are held in the evening by our other sister church.

We are worshiping in-person and we would love to have you join us. We encourage those who would like to wear masks for medical reasons in our services to feel comfortable doing that. While we no longer have any COVID related procedures in place, we do ask that all attendees sign in at the front desk on their way in and leave us a cell number in case we have any need to do any communicating after a service. We have plenty of space to spread out in our sanctuary.

We are also worshiping virtually online.  Each Sunday at 10:45am our service is broadcast on our Youtube Channel. Some of our congregation members watch our service and worship at home.  We would love to have you join us. Our newsletter also has information about our mid-week small groups, some that have moved to online formats while others have returned to the church building to meet.  Email the church office to join the email newsletter or to be added to the cell phone text message list for urgent announcements.

Worship Forms Us

Each week we gather not for intellectual stimulation or entertainment, but to engage with the living God - mind, body, and soul - and together as God's people, to give our lives over to the transforming work of God's Spirit.

Our worship generally consists of three movements:

First: We are called together and renewed in our identity as God's redeemed people. We take time to acknowledge God's goodness and repent of our sinful ways.

Second: We are immersed in the story of God's saving work through Jesus for the sake of the world. Through prayer, scripture readings, preaching and song we work to see clearly God's story and find our place in it.

Third: We are propelled through the Holy Spirit's power to live our lives firmly gripped by God's mission in our everyday lives.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will use these movements of our service to shape our lives as we grow in Jesus to bring glory to God everyday.

Teaching from Scripture

We believe that the Bible is God's messages to his people. He inspired the human authors that wrote these compiled letters, histories, poems, etc. and gave them to us to stand as the authority regarding Christian beliefs and the guide for Christian living.

We view the Bible as the basis for understanding who God is and how to orient our lives fully around Him. You can expect that each Sunday morning will include a set-aside time for hearing from Scripture, as well as practical teaching surrounding God's Word.

Growing Relationships - Linger Longer

Most Sundays we host a time after the service we call "Linger Longer."  It is a great time to meet others and get to know them at a deeper level.  Come into our Fellowship Cafe located beside our worship center and enjoy a small snack and some coffee or tea.  Each week a volunteer comes early to prepare our refreshments and stays late to clean up afterward.  This time of connecting with people is an important part of our church community. We hope you find the same is true for you as well.  Looking forward to sitting at a table with you soon!
