Worship

Service Time
We gather for worship on Sundays at 10:45 am in the Parkside Sanctuary. Join us afterwards for coffee and refreshments. Our weekly cafe hour provides space to catch up with friends or connect with new ones.
What to Expect
Each week we gather not for intellectual stimulation or entertainment, but to engage with the living God - mind, body, and soul - and together as God's people, to give our lives over to the transforming work of God's Spirit.
THE ORDER OF SERVICE
Our worship generally consists of three movements:
(1) We are called together and renewed in our identity as God's redeemed people
(2) We are immersed in the story of God's saving work through Jesus for the sake of the world
(3) We are propelled through the Spirit's power to live into God's mission in our everyday lives
FORMATION & PARTICIPATION
We belive worship is a "work of the people" and therefore, our service does not revolve around a few personalities, but depends on the participation of all God's people. Together - through PRAYER, SONG, SILENCE, CONFESSION, GOD'S WORD, and the LORD'S SUPPER - we are called out of passivity and indifference and formed to live in the world as the body of Christ - to embody faith, hope and love.
THE LORD'S SUPPER
We celebrate the Lord's Supper at the culmination of our worship on the first Sunday of every month. The communion meal orients our faith around the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. Through it, God offers us grace that deepens our life in Christ and strengthens our fellowship as his body. All who profess Jesus as Lord are welcome to join in the feast!
MUSIC
Because the church today stands in continuity with God's people throughout history, our worship incorporates hymns, psalms, songs and prayers from throughout Christianity past and present.
